This site is designed to provide an orientation to the basic aspects of fund development and as a resource to experienced fund development personnel: 

• Someone new to fundraising may find the overview useful as an orientation to fundraising.
• A Director of Development may use the planning tools to create a fund development plan, develop a capital campaign plan, write a case for support and create persuasive fundraising communication materials. 
• An Executive Director of a nonprofit organization will find strategies for involving the board of directors in fundraising, maximizing major gifts and determining the strategic directions for the organization's financial future.

• Use the Fundraising Methods page if you want a quick overview of fundraising methods.
• The Fund Development link contains sample plans, campaign plans, and supporting material.
• The Manage page provides tools for a Director of Development or Executive Director.
• The Resources button will take you to samples of proposals, research tools, and other useful information.

Planning, implementing and succeeding with fundraising is the purpose of this site.  Organization, recruiting the best people, developing ways to communicate your organization's mission and vision, are all elements of success.
